Sunday night I went to The Long Now Foundation members event for the North American premiere of 77 Million Paintings by Brian Eno exhibit at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. The installation consisted of a 45 foot long projection by Obscura Digital of Brian Eno’s “visual music”.

Most of The Long Now Foundation’s board members were in attendance at the reception, which was a great mix of old and new friends.

Here’s my full gallery of photos from the event.

Congratulations to my good friend Danielle Engelman, Long Now’s Community Development Director, for organizing such a great event.

Here’s information on how to become a Long Now Foundation member.

UPDATE: Michael Calore did a Q&A with Brian Eno for Wired and Mitch Aidelbaum was there as well, shooting photos for Wired: “Gallery: Brian Eno’s Ever-Evolving Ambient Art”

Wow, I wish I’d known about this. I’ve been too busy to keep up with blogs lately, what with my new job.
