Michel Gondry Videos on YouTube

So yeah, I’m a bit late on this, but I just found out that one of my favorite directors, Michel Gondry, who made films like “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and many great music videos, is now creating videos that he is posting to his YouTube account.

First the was the video of him solving a Rubik’s Cube with his feet.

Then he posted follow-up video of him solving a Rubik’s Cube with his nose. “Forget my feet, I can do much better.”

Then yesterday, he uploaded a spoof of the popular “Blendtec: Will It Blend?” videos, “Will it De Blend?”, which as it turns out is a promo for the DVD release of his film “The Science of Sleep”.

Speaking of YouTube, a you can find a bunch of Michel’s music videos and commercials that other people have uploaded there, including his fantastic music video for Beck’s “Cellphone’s Dead”.

I love Gondry, but the video of him solving the cube is actually playing backwards. Take a closer look!

Jessica: I’m well aware of that, but I wasn’t going to be the one to spoil the secret. Regardless, people mention it throughout the YouTube comments on that video.

I was late on this too, but I love his music videos, especially Cibo Matto’s “Sugar Water.” A viewing marathon compelled me to write about them. Thanks for a great blog.

Eek! Now I feel bad, like I should have given some sort of spoiler alert.
