“Jelly Swarm” is an interactive installation at the Vancouver Aquarium that consists of 94 origami jellyfish that are lit from within by LEDs (video). The jellyfish change color according to input from nearby touchscreens, or can automatically create their own generative displays without human input. The installation is by Tangible Interaction and the origami jellyfish are by artist Joseph Wu. “Jelly Swarm” is on display at the Vancouver Aquarium through January 2, 2012.
