Ello is a new simple and beautiful ad-free alternative to other advertising-based social networks. The creators of Ello posted a manifesto explaining their reasons for creating the network, and they promise to keep the service ad-free in the future. Ello, which is currently in Beta, will offer special features to users at a small price, but say that the vast majority of features will always remain free.
We believe there is a better way. We believe in audacity. We believe in beauty, simplicity and transparency. We believe that the people who make things and the people who use them should be in partnership.
