Behind the Scenes With Cayce Zavaglia and Her Astonishingly Lifelike Embroidery Portraits

Back in 2011 we first posted about Cayce Zavaglia, the St. Louis-based artist who embroiders astonishingly lifelike portraits by hand. Zavaglia has since created quite a few more embroideries, and has recently joined Instagram. She is also the subject of a 2012 mini documentary, “Cayce Zavaglia | Portrait and Process.”
