Vanessa Grigoriadis writes about “America’s Tweethearts” in Vanity Fair. According to the article, Twitter basically a popularity contest that creates “twilebrities”.

Over at CNET News Caroline McCarthy calls the Vanity Fair article “Twembarrassing”.

Rachel Sklar gives her take on the Vanity Fair article over on Mediaite.

A few of our friends are featured in the article and it’s great to see them in a Vanity Fair spread, but my guess is that they had no idea how off-base the article would actually be when it came out.
