Vulture is reporting that a spinoff of AMC TV series Breaking Bad is being considered and would star Bob Odenkirk as his smarmy lawyer character, Saul Goodman. The show is tentatively called Better Call Saul and according to Vulture, Odenkirk and the show’s producer Vince Gilligan discussed how the show might work, “Oh yeah, we’ve talked about it. Vince is still really busy with the show so we haven’t talked very in-depth about it, but he clearly thinks it’s a possibility. And I’ve certainly told him that if there was some way to see more of Saul then I would be happy to do it. It would be fun.” According to Rolling Stone, at the wrap party for Breaking Bad, Odenkirk joked, “A TV show is ultimately judged by its spinoff.”
