Doggie Diner Tattoo

Yesterday my good friend and co-conspirator “Caution” Mike Connor of Brooklyn had an amazing tattoo inked on his right arm of all three Doggie Diner dog heads (Manny, Moe & Jack) that make up the Holy Trinity Of The Dogminican Order (unofficial mascots of The Cacophony Society, and Laughing Squid). As far as I know, this is the first ever tattoo of all three of the dogs heads in their full glory. This awesome ink should bring Mike lots of good luck for years to come. If you see him, make sure to rub all three of the little noses now permanently attached to Mike’s arm.

Here are some more photos of the Doggie Diner tattoo, which was done by the very talented Kelly Krantz of Fly Rite Tattoo in Brooklyn, NY on July 12, 2006.

  1. great art work! I wonder how they look as the bicep flexes!

  2. Holy cock! go Caution!

  3. Does that mean he gets free Doggie Diner Hot Dogs for life? Oh, wait, wrong iconic San Francisco restaurant logo tattoo…

  4. Damn, that’s beautiful …

  5. I ran into Mike at the Madagascar Institute event at Washington Square Park this past Saturday and was the first to rub all three noses–followed closely by Silke. I feel very lucky indeed!

  6. How kool. Dammit how I miss Doggie Diner, and those delicious chili dogs! My regular Doggie Diner spot was in Alameda on Webster Street, just down from the Alameda and Oakland tube. I heard it’s gone now though? Anyways, kool tattoo.

  7. Very…interesting tattoo, great art work though
