Teleport, A New App That Works With Uber to Deliver Friends to Each Other

Teleport is a new app by Buddy, Co. that works with Uber to deliver friends to each other. Users can send an invite to their friend of choice to have an Uber car pick them up and bring them to a specific location such as a restaurant, party, or the user’s home. The user who sends the request pays for the ride, so the app could be used to do someone a favor, impress a client for a meeting, or to simply meet up for drinks.

The Teleport service works anywhere Uber does, and users can have a car pickup a friend within 100 miles of their location.
