Sunscreenr, A Compact UV Camera for Detecting Where Sunscreen Has Been Applied

Sunscreenr is a compact UV camera used to detect where sunscreen has been applied to the skin. Properly protected skin shows up as dark, and spots not protected by sunscreen appear lighter. Users can get a live view through the camera’s viewfinder to check someone else’s skin, or use the Sunscreenr to create a 30-second recording of themselves to play back and check themselves.

The Sunscreenr camera is available for preorder now through the company’s Indiegogo campaign site.
