The very adventurous musician Rob Scallon got his hands on a Russian balalaika, added a bit of electricity to the traditional instrument and proceeded to do what he does best, shredding some licks on an original heavy metal song.

On Scallon’s other YouTube channel, the musician shared how he wrote the song that he played on the balalaika.
