Rezhound, A Service That Sends Out Alerts When Reservations Open Up at Restaurants
Rezhound is a service created by self-described “Internet doer” Reed Kavner that sends out email and SMS alerts when reservations open up at restaurants. Users select their region from one of those currently covered, including San Francisco, New York, Chicago, and others, and designate which restaurant, when and how many people the reservation is for, and whether they’re flexible on the time.
The service uses OpenTable, the restaurant reservation service often used in the industry, to determine whether reservations are available.
