Reinvent the Toilet, A Call for Smarter Sanitation in the Developing World

“Reinvent the Toilet” by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is, as the video frankly puts it, all about poop. More specifically: the sanitation crisis caused by the 2.6 billion people who don’t have access to safe and reliable toilets. The video is a call for the next generation of toilet, one that would not require water and expensive infrastructure and would generate fertilizer, fuel, and even fresh water.
