Record Breaker Kevin Hays Solves Six Increasingly Larger Rubik’s Cubes in Six and a Half Minutes
Rubik’s Cube aficionado Kevin Hays potentially set a new world record on February 7th for solving six Rubik’s Cubes of increasing size — from a 2×2 cube to a 7×7 one — in exactly six minutes, twenty-three seconds, and eighty-one centiseconds, or 6:23:81.
According to his profile with the World Cube Association, Hays currently holds the official world record for the fastest solving of a 6×6 cube at 1:40.86.
