Portable City, A Sculpture Series of Miniature Cities in Suitcases

In her series “Portable City”, Chinese artist Yin Xiuzhen creates miniature sculptures of cities that seem to sprout out of suitcases. Each sculpture is made out of discarded clothes that Xiuzhen collects in that particular city. She’s created sculptures for Berlin, Melbourne, New York, and a number of Chinese cities.
