Russian musician Dmitry Rotkin performed a lightning-fast pizzicato (plucked string) cover of the ancient Mediterranean instrumental “Misirlou” on violin.

This song, which was made popular by legendary guitarist Dick Dale in 1963, was given new life in 1994 with the Quentin Tarantino film Pulp Fiction, and then in 2006 with The Black Eyed Peas song “Pump It”.
