NYC TYPE is a site that displays a stream of community-sourced photos of signage in New York City. The site draws its imagery from Instagram photos with the hashtag #nyctype. The site’s founders, Matthew Anderson and Daniel Hunninghake, plan to expand it to include higher quality photos, video, and geo-tagging.
