A creepy alien popped out of a newspaper dispenser and scared unsuspecting pedestrians in New York City in an elaborate staged prank. The stunt was created as a promotion for the upcoming 11th season of The X-Files by Thinkmodo, the same viral advertising agency behind the promotional stunt for Carrie and Devil’s Due. Season 11 of The X-Files is set to premiere on FOX January 3rd, 2018.
