Marvelous Translucent Animal Specimens

Japanese artist Iori Tomita’s “New World Transparent Specimens” are small animal specimens that have been treated and stained until they are translucent, in a process that takes up to a year. The specimens are only for sale in Japan, but there is a handy iPhone/iPad portfolio app available.
