Lucky Coin, The DeLorean Motor Company’s New Commercial for Their 2017 DMC-12 Replica Automobiles

In late January, the DeLorean Motor Company surprised us all by announcing that they will be building a limited number of new DeLorean DMC-12 replica automobiles to sell in 2017. They also recently released a new commercial, titled “Lucky Coin,” that follows a young man who stumbles upon a DeLorean. The man gets in through the gull-wing door and cruises around a canyon before hopping out and throwing a half dollar coin from 1982 over a cliff. 1982 was the year that the DeLorean Motor Company went bankrupt.
