iPhone 6s Plus Put Through 100 Pound Bend Test and Found To Be Much Stronger Than the Original iPhone 6 Plus

uBreakiFix ran a test that applied 100 pounds of pressure to the new iPhone 6s Plus and discovered it would only bend 2.5 mm elastically and not retain any plastic deformation after removing the pressure. When they ran the same test with the original iPhone 6 Plus, it bent 3.25 mm and retained 1 mm of plastic deformation. Their conclusion is that the new iPhone 6s Plus, which is made using 7000 series aluminum, is much stronger than the previous model and passes their bend test.
