Iowa to Offer a Mobile App That Serves as a Driver’s License in 2015
The Iowa Department of Transportation has outlined a plan to launch a mobile app that will serve as a digital driver’s license. The app, which is scheduled to arrive in 2015, will allow drivers to present their mobile phones to a police officer at a traffic stop.
