Hesitant Girl Talks Herself Into Skiing Down Her First Jump
This inspiring video has been making the rounds recently and is of a hesitant fourth grade girl overcoming her fears and talking herself down her first ski jump.
A family friend under the name of UK2NZ2NC2UT uploaded the video and had this to say about it:
…it’s more about the emotions and facing your fears and overcoming them, than the jump itself…The jump is not small, the launch is a good 6 feet high and it crosses a Cat Track before the landing slope starts, at a guess a good 8 feet horizontal, and that’s only to the start of the landing ramp, no idea what distance she got on this, her first K40 jump.
