Google Project Sunroof Partners With Sierra Club to Encourage People to Use Solar Power
Google’s Project Sunroof has partnered with the Sierra Club to encourage people to switch to solar power for the summer solstice. Sunroof, introduced last year, allows users to search their home address to see how much solar energy they could generate, see estimated cost savings, and get more information from solar providers in their area.
The Sierra Club has also launched a site called Ready for 100 dedicated to helping people get information on clean energy. While there they can also sign a photo petition to demand more renewable energy resources from government leaders.
