Fathoms, Haunting Animated Short About Two People and a Cat Stranded in Post-Apocalyptic Brooklyn
“Fathoms” by Joe Russ is a beautiful animated short film about a man, a girl, and a cat who struggle to survive in the flooded remains of a post-apocalyptic Brooklyn. Russ was inspired to create the animation after his father died of cancer. He spent six years making the animation in his free time.
