Dramatic Photos of Retired Subway Cars Being Tossed Into Ocean
“Next Stop Atlantic” is a dramatic series of photographs by Stephen Mallon of retired New York City subway cars being dumped into the ocean. The subway cars will fulfill a new role underwater, as artificial reefs. Mallon talks about the photographic series in an interview with My Modern Metropolis.
