Photographer David Friedman interviewed Donald Scruggs, the inventor of the screw-in coffin. Scruggs’ patented coffin is shaped like an enormous screw and can be screwed into the earth for burial. Friedman has been interviewing and photographing inventors for his ongoing Inventor Portrait series.
