Chris Cornell Combines the Lyrics From Metallica’s ‘One’ With the Melody of U2’s ‘One’ in a Live Mashup
While performing at the Santander Arts Center in Reading, Pennsylvania in 2013, the incredibly talented Chris Cornell performed an usual cover of the Metallica song “One” while playing the melody to the classic U2 song “One” in a live mashup of the two songs. The resulting song is absolutely heartbreaking, particularly in light of his tragic, unexpected death in 2017.
