Bad Science In Movies

Bad Science In Movies

Back in 2008 our friends io9 created a really great report card detailing Bad Science In Movies.

Space epics almost always play fast and loose with science, treating the laws of physics like suggestions. Sound in space, unprotected bodies splatting in vacuum, and alien planets that all look just like Calabasas. But some movies dismember Newton and Einstein with way more gusto than others.

For some reason this recently started to make the rounds again (I didn’t see it the first time either), but other blogs are not providing proper attribution, which should be io9. A little research can go along way when it comes to crediting sources.
