In his beautifully shot short film “Hong Kong Strong“, filmmaker and world traveler Brandon Li captured the richness and density of the very many layers that make up the rich cultural landscape of Hong Kong in the busy days before Chinese New Year.
A deep dive into the many layers of Hong Kong. A film about the madness and beauty of this seemingly impossible city in the days leading up to Chinese New Year. And an exploration of my own Cantonese heritage.
