A Gallery Show Celebrating the Fold-In Art of ‘Mad Magazine’ Cartoonist Al Jaffee in Brooklyn, New York

The Scott Eder Gallery in Brooklyn, New York is highlighting the long-running fold-in artwork of beloved Mad Magazine cartoonist, Al Jaffee (previously). Jaffee, who has been working for the comedy magazine since 1955, developed his iconic fold-in in 1964, encouraging readers to fold the back page of the magazine to reveal the visual punchline of a joke. The show runs through December 19, 2014.
