Red Dwarf Returns to British Television for an 11th Series (Season) on September 22, 2016
The sublime British space comedy Red Dwarf is returning to television on September 22, 2016 for an 11th series (season) and will feature the entire original cast. This is all really, really great news, however, we smegheads outside the United Kingdom, we may have to wait a while to see it, as it is currently only being carried by the channel Dave.
Red Dwarf XI, the eleventh series of the legendary sci-fi comedy, reunites the original cast of Chris Barrie (Rimmer), Craig Charles (Lister), Danny John-Jules (Cat) and Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) along with a host of guest stars for a brand new series recorded in front of a live studio audience at Pinewood Studios. …As of August 2016, the only confirmed broadcast/release of the episodes is in the UK; however, if the episodes are picked up by an international broadcaster, we will let you know here as soon as it happens! The episodes will also be released on DVD/Blu-ray shortly after their original transmission, and while not yet confirmed a digital download and/or streaming option will also likely follow.
