A Preview of the Beautiful Artwork Featured in Volume 35 of ‘Hi-Fructose: The New Contemporary Art Magazine’
Volume 35 of Hi-Fructose: The New Contemporary Art Magazine (previously) has recently been announced and will be packed to the max with beautiful artwork created by contemporary artists from around the world. Martin Wittfooth, a talented artist “who uses animals to craft paintings exposing human excess and environmental abuse”, will be featured on the cover of this upcoming issue. Volume 35 of the quarterly art publication is currently available to pre-order online and is scheduled to ship in April 2015.
Our 35th volume features: Björk’s retrospective at the NY MoMA; Tracey Snelling’s detailed dioramas and installations of urban landscapes; painter Doze Green, who influenced a whole generation of artists; Masao Kinoshita, who mutates humans and animals to create bizarre sculptures which would make Dr. Moreau envious. We’re thrilled to present this issue’s special insert section featuring Renée French’s bizarre yet endearing drawings. Then there’s the amazing paintings of Jamie Brett Treadwell; Kazuhiro Tsuji’s hyper-real sculptures; Pat Perry, who approaches his art like a journalist, incorporating his travels into his work. In this issue, we also revisit Naoto Hattori’s awe-inducing paintings, and review the new Chet Zar documentary and a hauntingly beautiful book about death.
