Simply Fired
Job search engine startup Simply Hired recently launched the spin-off website, Simply Fired, which encourages people to tell their story about being fired. You can read all the the fired stories that have been submitted so far, including a story by Mark Jen, who is notorious for being fired by Google because he wrote about them in his blog.
Simply Fired is even having a contest for the best fired stories and our own Lori Dorn (Mrs. Squid herself) was chosen to be one of the judges. She’s in good company with our friends Phil “Pud” Kaplan, Om Malik, Chris Pirillo, Eric Rice and Steve Rubel who were some of the other judges selected.
