Sticky Toffee & Spotted Dick

Sticky Toffee & Spotted Dick found in Ye Village Shoppe at Camerons Restaurant and Inn in Half Moon Bay. Next time I’ll be sure to get a shot of the Treacle as well.

Mmm perfect with a nice bit of Birds custard. I have a Heinz treacle pudding and a custard in my cupboard at this moment. Who says the english don’t know their food?

Also, until you Americans become skilled in the way of the Branston Pickle, you’ll never know a truly great sandwich, no matter how many rubens or subs you craft. Mmmm. Branston Pickle.

Oh, and if we want to go down *that* route, I must admit I’m a little partial to a “toad in the hole” ..

Mollie Stone’s and Andronico’s have expatriate Brit sections, where you can get treacle, spotted dick, Lucozade,”golden syrup”, etc…, etc… The Mollie Stone’s in San Bruno (near SFO) is particularly full of British food.
