Money Celebrities & LP Portraits, Creative Image Alignment Memes

Ben Bernanke

Freaking News is running a great Money Celebrities contest, encouraging people to create and submit images where half of the portrait of the person on a banknote is merged with half of a photo of a celebrity. For instance, AZRainman created a brilliant example where Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is merged with Abraham Lincoln from a five dollar bill.

Dr. Evil

Here’s another great image was that made by katiekate using Dr. Evil.

There’s a new craze going in United Kingdom – people take pictures of themselves partially covered with folded banknotes (mostly with queen Elizabeth) in the foreground. The result is a merged faces of people and queen Elizabeth on the banknotes. The mix looks surprisingly natural for some.

All of me

The Money Celebrities concept is similar to the LP portraits meme that has been making the rounds, where record albums portraits are matched up with real bodies.

Ben Bernake is a celebrity? I like the pics where someone is holding up a mountain, or a bridge.
