Makies dolls (previously) has created a line of dolls with inclusive accessories endorsed by the Toy Like Me, a group of parents of kids with disabilities who advocate for better disability representation in the toy industry. Accessories available include a hearing aid or a cane. The Melissa doll features a hand-painted vascular birthmark on her face. Makies is currently working on a wheelchair option for their dolls, and encourage suggestions for other inclusive accessories on their website.
