Tonight Digg added their long anticipated images section. This is great news for Laughing Squid, considering many of our front page Diggs have been image related.

The top Digg image story as I post this is a self-referential image from Void11 of a LOL Rabbit with a pancake on its head celebrating the launch of the images section.

Digg also added a new “Offbeat” category, another good fit for many of Laughing Squid’s Digg submissions. A new “Lifestyle” section was added as well. News, images and video can be added to any category. For instance if you submit an image to the Offbeat category, now it will show up in both the Images and Offbeat sections.
