Cubli, A Robotic Cube That Can Balance on a Corner and Walk

Researchers at Swiss university ETH Zurich have developed Cubli, a robotic cube that can jump up, balance on a corner, and walk, thanks to a computer-controlled system of reaction wheels. As this demo video shows, the 5.9-inch cube can maintain balance even when it is prodded or the surface on which it is perched is tilted.
