Open source geek and DNA Lounge owner Jamie Zawinski (jwz) has some great photos from last weekend’s 25th Annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade.

Hey! These are some great shots from the Mermaid Parade. Looks like it was a lot of fun. Sorry I missed it this year as I’ve been in Budapest. I got a bit curious about the Parade, so I started doing some research about its history. I found this “encyclopedic” search engine which finds facts about art from all over the web and presents results in a much more informative and useful way than most search engines.
