Boing Boing Redesign, Adds Comments & New Gadgets Blog

Boing Boing co-founder Mark Frauenfelder has just announced the new Boing Boing, which along with a complete redesign by Jemma Hostetler of Studio Sans Nom, along with a new logo and character mascots by eboy. The redesign also marks the return of comments which were turned off a couple of years ago. They have hired Teresa Neilsen Hayden as their new community manager and she will be managing the new comment system.

Mark also announced the launch a of new blog, Boing Boing Gadgets, which will cover personal technology. This new blog will be run by Boing Boing’s newest contributor, Joel Johnson, formerly of Gizmodo and who currently runs Dethroner.

Congratulations guys! The redesign looks great and I’m really looking forward to the new blog.

almost time for your redesign isn’t it? :) ..maybe a redesign contest? ..seemed to work well for slashdot :)
