The Naviator, A Drone Capable of Flying in the Air and Maneuvering Through Water

The Naviator is a drone capable of flying in the air and maneuvering through water, as well as switching seamlessly from one to the other. The drone was developed by a team at Rutgers University and funded by a grant from the Office of Naval Research.

The team behind the Naviator hopes to improve on their design with more sensors and capability, including increasing its maximum payload to make the drone more useful in practical situations.
