“The History of the CBS Eye Logo” tells the story of the iconic CBS logo, which was created in 1951 by designer William Golden. The design was inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch and Shaker variations of the “all-seeing” Eye of Providence symbol. The video was broadcast by CBS in 2001–the 50th anniversary of the logo’s introduction.
