The AxiDraw V3, An Improved Plotter Robot for a Variety of Writing and Drawing Uses

The AxiDraw V3 by Evil Mad Scientist is an improved plotter robot that can be used for a variety of writing and drawing uses. Its simple design uses a robotic arm to position, raise, and lower a pen that can placed straight or angled depending on the writing tool being used.

The V3 features design improvements to make the AxiDraw more repairable over time compared to the original version released earlier this year.

AxiDraw V3 is an all-new version of the AxiDraw, redesigned from the ground up for high performance. It features smooth rolling wheels on custom aluminum extrusions, specially designed for high stiffness and light weight. Its sturdy, rigid construction gives it finer quality output and in most applications allows it to operate at up to twice the speed of the previous AxiDraw.
