Happier Meals, McDonald’s Big Mac Remixed by Toronto Chefs

The Grid asked four Toronto chefs to remix a McDonald’s Big Mac into something worthy of a five star restaurant. The chefs had to make their creations from an actual Big Mac meal, with no additional ingredients allowed. The results are visually interesting but do not sound terribly appetizing: Mortadella of emulsified Big Mac patty, burger cake with french fry and ketchup frosting, and a sauce of scraped Big Mac cheese are some of the highlights.
