Glitched Houndstoof by Doctor Popular Puts a Unique Tech Twist on a Very Classic Design

Doctor Popular, a talented artist and good friend of Laughing Squid, has submitted his concept for a “Glitched Houndstoof print” to the Betabrand Think Tank, where Doc is asking for community feedback about what he should make with the fabric. If this “Houndstoof” pattern looks familiar, it’s very similar to the pattern used for one of his successfully funded “Glitch Socks”, which are now available for pre-order.

Houndstoof is a glitched out twist on a classic pattern. I designed a large swatch that’s constantly distorting and changing in new ways, which means that each and every piece will look unique. I’ve got some mock ups of a shirt and a dress design, but we are looking for feedback from the community on what to do with these beautiful fabric.
