For Small Fires, A Photograph with Lace-Like Patterns Burned into It

In her photographic installation “À petits feux” (“For small fires”), artist Myriam Dion burned hundreds of tiny holes in an 8-foot-wide photograph, creating intricate lace-like patterns throughout the image. We previously posted about Dion’s intricate cut newspapers.
