In his latest video, Jake Roper (a.k.a. “Vsauce3“) sheds some light on whether or not we can genetically enhance ourselves. He even compares genetic mods to the BioShock video game series.
In video games like ‘BioShock,’ you use Plasmids and Vigors to change your DNA – giving you super human abilities. Now, we cant shoot out electricity or bees like in the game but could we increase our strength, our speed, or our mind? If scientists can use Gene Therapy to replace certain genes, could we use it for genetic power-ups?
