Brooklyn Rapper Jean Grae Launches Her Online Sitcom “Life With Jeannie”

Jean Grae, Brooklyn’s multi-auteur rapper/writer/director/comic, has unveiled a new sitcom called Life With Jeannie. It is wry and personal; the laugh lines pile high while the tone succeeds in remaining deeply understated and naturalistic. Its premiere episode, “My First Baby Jesus,” launched on Christmas, and the second installment is slated for Valentines Day.
