Artists Use Rapid Manufacturing Techniques to Make Plastic Lenses That Hilariously Distort Human Faces
In their whimsical project Smaller & Upside Down, artists Robb Godshaw and Max Hawkins have created custom lenses that cartoonishly distort human faces. The duo created the lenses using 3D design software, a 3D printer, and a CNC router. The project was on public display in San Francisco earlier in April. Godshaw has posted instructions for the trick lenses on Instructables.
